Katie and Sam were an absolute dream to work with! I knew from our first meeting when we took their engagement photos, that these two were going to make a beautiful bride and groom. Their day was perfect – even though it was a classic HOT midwestern summer day, this didn’t slow them down or stop their wedding party from having a blast with the portraits! 

One of my favorite moments was being able to see Sam’s reaction when he saw his bride, Katie walk down the aisle. I’ll never forget that his best man was whispering in his ear, but with a quick glance down the aisle, Katie emerges from the doorway and Sam gave a look as if no one else in the room even existed.

 He saw her and only her. It was truly heart warming.

 That’s not the only time that I caught Sam staring adoringly at his wife. I would catch him sneaking glances and smiling in her direction and I remember thinking that is a man so in love! Katie and Sam have so much to look forward to in their future and they have an amazing tribe of people to walk along side them! 

The DoubleTree team were flawless hosts for the day and it was a thrill to work with them! Katie and her bridal party looked stunning thanks to hair and makeup by Blu H20 Salon! 

 To the newlyweds, thank you so much for letting me be apart of your day. For your constant support in my work and for going along with my crazy requests during portraits! 🙂 God’s blessings to you in this new journey!
